Description

The Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna, Florida, is seeking a contractor to provide services as a Radiological Technician. The offeror must have at least six months experience in the duties outline in the statement of work along with credentials verifying graduation from an accredited program for Radiology Technicians. The resulting contract will be a base period, not to exceed twelve months, with one (1) one year option period to be exercised at the sole discretion of the government. The number of one hour sessions is estimated at 1260 for the base period, depending on the actual date of award and the availability of funds. The solicitation will be available on or around October 04, 2005, and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed unless determined by the contracting officer to be in the best interest of the government. Future information concerning this acquisition, including any amendments, will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information concerning this solicitation. The NAICS code for this requirement is 621399. All qualified responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer that will be considered for award. The anticipated date of receipt of quotes is on or around October 31, 2005. Faith-Based and Community Based Organiztions have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are elligible. The government may make award without discussions, therefore, offerors are instructed to submit their best offer initially. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
