Description

Contractor to provide all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment to perform maintenance inspections, certifications, decontamination and changing of filters, when necessary, of biological/biohazard cabinets and fume hoods. Services will be provided to the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, 1481 W. 10th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46202. Contract period is from the date of award through September 30, 2006 with four (4) one year renewal options, which will be exercised at the option of the Government. The NAICS code is 541990 and size standard is $6.0 mil. Contractor must be NSF certified and provide proof of certification and/or confirmation of enrollment into a Biosafety Cabinet Field Certifier Accreditation Program. All responsible small business sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered by the Government. Contractors are responsible for obtaining a copy of all documents (solicitation and amendments) via the website: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/cgi-bin/webobjects/bospublic.woa. Solicitation will be available electronically on or about October 3, 2005. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.
