Description

The following description is being provided via FedBizOpps to increase the visability of the Boeing RFI. This posting does NOT represent a Government request for goods or services. Please use the contact information below and not that in the announce ment header. In support of the U.S. Army Future Combat Systems (FCS) Program, the Lead Systems Integrator (Boeing/SAIC) is requesting information on design concepts and possible materiel solutions that will satisfy the FCS Automated Resupply requirement. Information requested includes design features, component weight, component space claims, future applicable technology spiral developments, schedule, ROM costs for development and production, and life cycle cost estimates. FCS has a requirement to resupply large caliber ammunition from the Unit of Action distribution platform (Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck Load Handling System) and/or Trailer with Palletized Load system (Flatrack) to three of the FCS Manned Ground Vehicle variants (NLOS Cannon, NLOS Mortar, and the Mounted Combat System).
