- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for Materials Handling Equipment services for the leasing of forklifts, pallet trucks, reach & tiers, sideloaders, walkie reaches, forklift/manipulators, and forklift/dockstockers. The contractor shall provide required maintenance to ensure a fully adequate, efficient, and serviceable fleet of MHE. Contractor must repair downed equipment within 24 hours. Contractor must obtain required badges for access to Controlled Industrial Areas. Delivery is FOB destination to Bremerton, WA. This will be a fixed price type contract for a six-month period and two (2) six-month options. FISC Puget Sound is contemplating multiple award(s) resulting from this solicitation. It is not the Government?s intent to expand the scope of this contract in the future. This is not a multi-year contract. This will be competed as full and open. This solicitation will be issued on or about 20 September 2005 using simplified acquisitions per FAR part 12 and 13.5. When issued the RFQ will be posted on the NECO website www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. Only vendors registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) will be considered for contract award. No bidder?s list will be maintained by this office. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote non-responsive and result in the rejection of the same.
