- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Although this is a combined synopsis/solicitation, please refer to the hard copy solicitation available on the Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/. You must submit your proposal on the hard copy solicitation. From the Gateway homepage, left-hand sidebar, select ?Search RFPs.? Then choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of the solicitation will not be available to requestors. The solicitation issue date is 30 September 2005. Closing Date is 31 October 2005. The solicitation SP0406-05-R-4095 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) and will result in a Fixed Price/Economic Price Adjustment Indefinite Quantity Contract for a base year and four one-year option periods for two (2) NSNs, 6850-01-085-4719 and 6850-01-086-3438, Inhibitor, Corrosion, Liquid Cooling System. Unrestricted, other than full and open competition; this is a sole source item and no data is available. Sole approved source is NALFLEET Inc, CAGE 95719. Stock lines only to SRG, Richmond, VA and AQ5, Tracy, CA. NSN 6850-01-085-4719, P/N: NALCOOL 2000. Unit quantity is a 5.0 gallon net drum. Estimated Annual Demand (base and option years) to SRG is 77 DR and to AQ5 is 43 DR. Delivery: 25 DARO. NSN 6850-01-086-3438, P/N: NALCOOL 2000. Unit drum contains 55 gallons net. Estimated Annual Demand (base and option years) to SRG is 55 DR and to AQ5 is 15 DR. Delivery: 36 DARO. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR. The following data applies to both NSNs: These are commercial items. FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination; QAP-251. Quantity variance is Plus 5%, Minus 5%. Original manufacturer's commercial unit packaging is required; repackaging is not authorized. MSDS and OSHA hazard warning label are required. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies; the final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
