Description

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives intends to negotiate a sole-source award with Orion Thermo, Beverly, MA for the Orion Thermo-energy Analyzer? (TEA) Model 510. The TEA Analyzer is a chemiluminescence detector for explosives detection. The award also includes delivery, freight, installation, and training. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334516 with a size standard of 500 employees. This is not a competitive request for proposals. ATF may consider responses to this notice from interested parties to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by ATF to not compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement will be conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
