Description

Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance Services for Blue Grass Army Depot to include preventive maintenance, load test and inspection, repair and overhaul, modifications, spot painting, welding, glass and upholstery service. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform vehicle and equipment maintenance. AFSC intends to issue Request for Quote, W52P1J-05-Q-3029 approximately 14 Sep 2005. This contract will be restri cted to small businesses under NAICS 561210 with $30M as the small business classification. The Government intends to award a firm fixed contract with a time and materials CLIN. This service will cover a 1 year base period with four 1 year option periods . The RFQ will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business website: http://acquisition. Army.mil on or about 14 Oct 2005 and open 15 days from issuance. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (D0D) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR) and ORCA. If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD Contract. You may register via the Internet at: http://www.ccr.gov. Interested firms are invited to submit Proposals after this solicitation is posted to the web.
