- Position Classification: No. CLAS-B100 The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection Office of Human Resource Management intend to perform an A-76 Streamlined Study of the position classification function, OMB Function Code B-100. The positions are located in Washington, DC; Laguna Niguel, CA; Burlington, VT and Dallas, TX with 20 estimated in-house FTE. The Position Classification function includes performing transactional classification reviews of position descriptions (PD), performing global classification reviews in order to standardize positions; supporting the transfer of position classification to pay banding, providing support to new organizations and mergers, responding to appeals, and providing intergovernmental liaison services. Smith Projected Date that the agency tender will be due to the CO: December 1, 2005 Projected End Date (Decision): December 30, 2005. There is no administrative appeals process for the review of streamlined competitions under the OMB Circular A-76 (Rev.2003)
