- Draft solicitation W15QKN-05-R-0825 is amended to clarify the Pre-solicitation confrence process for our industry partners. The coference is scheduled for 13 October 2005 and will be held at the Command Conference Center, Bledg. 1, Armament, Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC), Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey. Firms interested in sending representatives to the Conference shall notify Mr. John Pleasant via electronic mail only at pleasant@pica.army.mil. By 3PM EST, 7 October 2005 with the following information: Firm name, name(s) of ndividual attending, telephone numbers and addresses. Please be aware that all visitors, including those escorted by Picatinny or Contractor personnel with valid Picatinny I.D., are required to process in through the Visitor Control Center located at the Main Gate. You will be issued a pass and MUST have some form of valid photo ID, i.e. Drivers License, Passport, etc. This policy includes all vehicle passengers. In addition, individuals operating vehicles without a Picatinny decal affixed will be required to process in through the Visitor Control Center and must provide license and registration. All vehicles entering the gate will be subject to a full search for prohibited items and contraband. Prohibited items include: weapons, ammunition, drugs, alcoholic beverages, photographic equipment, and recording devices. These items will be confiscated and violators cited by the Picatinny Police.
