Description

The USCG, MLCP in Oakland, CA, proposes to contract for Dockside Repair of USCGC ACUSHNET, a 213 foot medium endurance cutter, home moorage of Ketchikan, AK. Work will start on 14 Mar and complete by 5 May 2006, at the cutter's moorage, Ketchikan, AK. Work may include, but is not limited to the following: Production Gantt Bar Chart, main hold mods, watertight door renewals, electrical breakers inspect and test, forward ventilation renewal, vent ducts commercial cleaning, firemain valve inspect and overhaul, overhaul hydraulic power unit and renew 100 gallon hydraulic oil reservoir, single pt davit inspect and repair, sewage tank clean and inspect, deck renewal, scullery renovation, main diesel engine blower overhaul, main propulsion generators clean and inspect, main propulsion motors clean and inspect and temporary services. On or about 26 Oct 2006, a Request For Proposal (RFP) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation, specifications and other pertinent information will be posted at www.fbo.gov. In order to open and download the specifications offerors must be registered at www.FedTeds.gov. Offerors are encouraged to register immediatley as authorization to access the documents may take up to 48 hours from the time of registration. Drawings may be requested throug FedTeds.
