Description: Brookhaven Science Associates are seeking sources to design and manufacture 100Kv Accelerating Columns and supporting components. The Contractor must design and construct a unique piece of scientific apparatus for the acceleration of heavy ions. The contractor must have the capability to metallize ceramic for the purpose of welding non-magnetic electrodes to form an accelerating voltage gradient. The requirement is for a quantity of two each 100Kv acclerating columns, 100Kv, 10 Alumina insulating ring, OFC electrodes, 250mm OD x 340mm Length, weleded 16.5" flanges on each end.
