Description
The Test and Training Enabling Architecture (TENA) is an open systems architecture designed to enable interoperability and reuse among laboratories, range systems, simulations, and embedded instrumentation in a quick and cost-efficient manner. Established in December 2000, the TENA Architecture Management Team (AMT) serves as the standards body for the stakeholders across the test and training communities. The AMT holds periodic meetings (typically every 2-3 months) to provide a forum for TENA users and developers to review advancements in implementations, to identify aspects for improvement, and to discuss other technologies to potentially leverage and incorporate. The next AMT meeting (AMT-30) will be held on Wednesday-Thursday, 12-13 October 2005 at the Hilton Sandestin Hotel, Destin, FL. For administrative information on the upcoming AMT-30 meeting, visit the TENA website at www.tena-sda.org. Register for the AMT-30 meeting via the website by Friday, 30 September 2005. The AMT-30 meeting is not directly related to any current contract requirement, and therefore attendance will not be funded by the Government. It will be necessary for each company to fund their participation in this meeting. The point of contact for the AMT-30 meeting is Ms. Dee Salazar-Beddard, TENA Software Development Activity, at 703-681-4165 x113, dee,salazar-beddard.ctr@osd.mil
