Additional information on quantities will be listed in the actual solicitation. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Noun: Aircraft Skins. Item Description: Dimensions: .050 X 37.2? X 130.0? Material: Clad 2024-0, Sheet, QQ-A-362 Finished to T-4. Formed piece of aluminum to provide a finished contour to the aircraft cowling for aerodynamics. Applicable to B-52 Aircraft Destination: FB2039 Delivery: First Article due 180 Days after receipt of contract. Production Quantities due in incremental shipments beginning December 2006 or approximately 8 months after first article approval. Solicitation will provide greater detail. Qualification Requirements: Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. Qualification requirements apply to all line items. THE FOLLOWING DATES ARE APPROXIMATE. CONTRACTORS SHALL REFER TO THE ACTUAL SOLICITATION FOR THE EXACT CLOSING DATE. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 19 Oct 2005. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 21 Nov 2005. The anticipated award date will be 30 Dec 2005. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation.
