The Bureau of Land Management(BLM), Ukiah Field Office, Ukiah, CA requires a seeding application service for a project location which consists of three sites on BLM-managed lands on the Payne Ranch acquisition in Colusa County, CA. Areas to be treated were prescribed burned in June, 2005 to remove accumulated weed thatch in preparation for seeding in the fall of 2005. Project location consists of three sites on BLM-managed lands on the Payne Ranch acquisition in Colusa County, CA. The seeding sites are located in portions of: The BLM (Government) will furnish all seed to be used for this project. The contractor will be responsible for drilling 85 acres with a seed mixture of seven native perennial grasses which is being furnished per the Government (BLM). The contractor will pick up this seed at the Hedgerow Farms in Winters, CA. Contact: John Anderson. Note:The Payne Ranch Seeding Contract (Reference: BCQ031004) will immediately be followed by the Payne Ranch Post-Seeding Herbicide Application Contract (Reference: BCQ031002). These two contracts are directly related and must be implemented in sequence by the successful contractor(s). You must also be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website http://www.ccr.gov. The RFQ will be posted on or before October 17, 2005. Closing date for this RFQ will be not later than November 15, 2005, 11:59 EST. To obtain a copy of this solicitation go to the following website http://ideasec.nbc.gov/. You must submit your quote through the above website by following the instruction posted on EC. (NO FAX OR HARD COPIES WILL BE ACCEPTED). This project is estimated not to exceed $50,000.00. Start date is estimated for November 18, 2005 (or immediately after award), ending date is December 31, 2005. Period of Performance is specified within the Statement of Work. SITE TOUR: is scheduled for October 28, 2005 at 10:00a.m. Location: Meet directly across from the California Dept of Forestry Station which is on Highway 16 in Colusa county 0.1 miles south of the intersection with Highway 20.
