- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst intends to procure the following: Protective Cover Kits for the Aerial Refueling Store (ARS). These items are in support of the A/A 42R-1 Aerial Refueling Store. The contractor shall manufacture a quantity of ninety (90) kits. Deliveries of the Kits shall be in quantities of 15 kits per month beginning ninety days after first article test completion and approval for production is granted. Delivery of the ARS Protective Cover Kits is FOB Destination to Lakehurst, NJ approximately (90) days after date of contract award, in accordance with best commercial packaging and packing practices. Final inspection and acceptance will be performed by the Government at Destination. The specifications for the ARS Protective Cover Kit are subject to Export Control regulations and will only be released to firms who are certified with the DLSC for receipt of Military Critical Technical Data. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract to the offeror whose proposal offers the lowest price technically acceptable items. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst plans to make available a Request for Quote (RFQ). The RFQ, related specifications, and drawings will be mailed separately to certified requestors. No drawings will be posted to this website. This RFQ is being issued as Full and Open Competition. It is requested that all interested parties submit a current completed and certified DD Form 2345 (Military Critical Technical Data Agreement) to NAWCADLKE Contracting Office.
