Description

This announcement constitutes Solicitation Number FA4801-06-T-0073, which will be issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). Anticipated award to be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-05. This acquisition is full and open for competition due to the complexity and urgency of the project. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes are 237110, 238110 and 238910. The size standard is $28.5M for 237110 and $12M for 238110/238910. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall repair a broken water line next to Building 21808, a stealth hanger. The existing water line is 3 inch Schedule 40 PVC, and is located about 8' below the surface of the concrete pavement. The existing concrete pavement consists of 20' x 20' slabs, which are at least 16 inches thick. The slabs adjacent to the building are reinforced. The other slabs are not reinforced. All specifications are included in the Statement of Work. PROJECT DETAILS: The Solicitation, which will include the site visit date, and other attachments will be posted on or about 6 October 2005 and MUST BE downloaded from FedBizOps at www.eps.gov; DO NOT REQUEST VIA MAIL OR FAX. IMPORTANT NOTICES: 1) RFQ submission must be in accordance with solicitation. 2) You will not be eligible to receive an award if you are not in the Central Contractor Registration Database. (Ref. DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration). 3) All Amendments, if applicable, Must Be Acknowledged.
