- Description
- TACOM-ARDEC Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is currently seeking sources for the availability of a MWIR Thermal Imager that can be used for both laboratory and field measurements. The NAICS code is 334513. The thermal imager will be able to measure infrared energy in the 1-5 micron band. It is important to note that systems that only work in the 3-5 micron band are not of interest. The array should be at a minimum of 640x512 pixels. Available lenses should allow the user to alter imagers FOV from 2 degrees to 20 degrees. The thermal imager should be able to measure object temperature up to 1200 o C. We desire image acquisition of at least 100 frames per second. Software should be able to calibrate the imager and perform radiometric measurements with a desired image dynamic range 14-bits. The ability to spin the filters to generate alternating filtered images, and insert multiple 1-inch diameter filters in the camera are highly desirable. At this point in time we seek both product and pricing information form vendors who can supply this equipment. Information contained in product brochures and data sheets are acceptable. All information should be sent to: U.S. Army ARDEC, ATTN: Heather Yaworski, Contract Specialist, U.S. Army TACOM, Picatinny Center for Contracting and Commerce. AMSTA-AQ-APH, Building 9, Picatinny, NJ 07806-5000. EMAIL: heather.yaworski@pica.army.mil. All responses should include company name, address, POC, phone number, fax number, email address, business size, taxpayer identification number, DUNS number and CAGE code. Documentation provided will not be returned. This is a sources sought notice only. It is for planning purposes only and should not be construed as a Request for Proposal or a commitment by the United States Government. Please submit you responses not later then November 3, 2005.
