Description

Naval Hospital Pensacola, on behalf of the Naval Undersea Medical Institute, Groton Ct. plans to award a sole source to Yale School of Medicine, Trauma, Surgical Critical Care and Surgical Emergencies for Trauma Training Course for the Submarine Force Independent Duty Hospital (IDC) Corpsman of the Naval Undersea Medical Institute (NUMI). This course will enhance knowledge of trauma medicine and to receive hands-on experience of trauma-related procedured utilizing a live animal tissue lab. The location of this training must be within 50 miles of NUMI. This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to the Navy's requirement. The NAICS for this action is 611310. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, see FAR Part 13.5.
