Description
This is a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Firm Fixed Price Contract for the buildout of a kitchen/servery for the new U.S. Courthouse, 225 Cadman Plaza, Brooklyn, New York. This procurement is a Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Only offers submitted by firms, that meet the Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Classification set forth by the Small Business Administration, will be considered. This is a negotiated procurement. GSA reserves the right to award this contract on initial offers without conducting negotiations. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 236220 and the size standard is $28.5 million. The solicitation will be issued on or about 10/20/05 with a closing date for receipt of proposals on November 21, 2005. The estimated cost range is $750,000 to $1,500,000. Time for completion: 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. In order to provide food service to the new U.S. Courthouse, it will be necessary to buildout approximately 2,800 square feet of space for the kitchen/servery and additional seating areas. This space is located on the third floor of the new Courthouse. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor and material for this new construction. Work includes but is not limited to demolition of the temporary partitions, installation of new partitions, floors, ceilings, related mechanical/electrical/plumbing and fire protection as described in the drawings and specifications to be provided by the Government to the SDVOSB offerors. A total firm fixed price is required for all the work described in the solicitation. The RFP will be available from the General Services Administration by contacting Mr. Francis Cashman, Contracting Officer at (718) 330-2030. Prospective Offerors must have a valid Central Contractor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov/), Dunn & Bradstreet Number and a valid IRS Tax ID Number to obtain a copy of the procurement package. All responsible sources meeting the Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business classification may submit an offer, which will be considered by the agency.
