Description

The Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) intends to solicit and award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to McClellan Facility Services, 3140 Peacekeeper Way, McClellan, California 95652. This acquisition will provide facility maintenance and Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning (HVAC) support services such as preventive maintenance of equipment, emergency and remedial repair of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other major or minor type construction projects that may be needed. DMEA is leasing the facility from McClellan Facility Services who is the property owner. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and all other items and services necessary to perform preventive and remedial (emergency & non-emergency) maintenance work on existing HVAC equipment and to perform Facility Maintenance work as requested and defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Contractor shall provide qualified and certified technicians thoroughly familiar with the operation, maintenance and repair of equipment hardware and software, and assure that performance of work accomplished under the contract is in strict compliance with contract specifications. During normal duty hours (0700-1530) the manager or designated alternate shall be available within one (1) hour of notification. After normal duty hours (1630-0700) the manager or designated alternate shall be available within four (4) hours. Contract will be for a base year plus four option year periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561210. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. Responses shall be limited to 10 pages and should include, as a minimum, (1) evidence of past experience; and (2) related projects and/or existing systems, etc. Anticipated Award date is 15 Dec 2005. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating is DO-S10. The date and time offers are due: 10 November 2005, 10:00 am Pacific time to DMEA, Contracting Office, 4234 54th Street, McClellan, CA 95652-2100. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis. All respondents are reminded of the required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) requirement and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) to be considered eligible for any potential Department of Defense contracts.
