Description: The Forest Service has a fence construction requirement. The Government will provide the 6"x6" pressure treated wooden posts. The Contractor will provide all othr necessary supplies and materials to complete the installation of 890' of stainless steel cable fence, including removal of portion of existing fence, minor clearing, and fence construction in accordance with the specifications. Location of work is Whiteside Mountain, Highlands Ranger District, NFsNC. The solicitation will be posted on October 21, 2005 and the quotations will be due on November 21, 2005. The period of performance is 90 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Information on a site visit will be provided when the solicitation is posted on October 21, 2005.
