- The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement in FY06 of 104,647 man/hours with options for FY07 of 154,514 man/hours and FY08 of 129,542 man/hours for design agent support and engineering and technical support and services for the CEC Program. The design agent support includes labor, facilities, engineering and technical support for CEC System Design Agent services, support equipment and computer program installations, and support existing CEC baselines. The engineering services include support of the CEC program encompassing existing assets, Common Equipment Sets, auxiliary equipment, stand-alone equipment, and any required improvements thereto. The supplies and services include: on-call engineering/technical services; systems engineering; test event support; program documentation; design studies; technical feasibility evaluations; technical documentation; training; spare and repair parts; component parts overhaul, repair and upgrade services; line replaceable units; assemblies; subassemblies; weapons replaceable assemblies; shop replaceable assemblies; stand-alone and auxiliary equipment; and preparation of Engineering Change Proposals. The Navy will solicit Raytheon Company, Network Centric Systems (NCS), 1501 72nd Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33710 as the sole designer and manufacturer of this equipment and related computer programs. This synopsis is for informational purposes only, for the benefit of potential subcontractors. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with the source identified herein. Therefore, solicitation documents are not available; parties interested in pursuing subcontracting opportunities are encouraged to contact the subcontracting department at the above address.
