- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulations Acquisition Circular Number 2005-06. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED, quote s will be accepted from all eligible firms; the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 7353; North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 532412. Interested parties must submit their quoted prices in strict accordance with the following bid schedul e: CLIN 0001: Furnish all plant, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide one each 5.5 Yard Capacity Four Wheel Drive Loader Rental. The loader bucket hook-ups must be compatible with Government owned ramp hog plow without having to make any modi fication. The Government ramp plow is 30-foot plow manufactured by Wausau, model number RP-30. Equipment will be used to clear snow with an estimated 720 operating hours. Rental of equipment should include 24-hour road tech support, include but not limi ted to replacement parts, oil and filter changes as required. A joint inspection will be performed at time of delivery and time of equipment pick up. Any damages or other discrepancies will be noted at this time. Rental Period: 1 November 2005 through 3 1 March 2006. Quantity Unit Unit Price Amount 2 EACH $________ $_________ The following Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) Clauses and Provisions are applicable to this acquisition: Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certific ations-Commercial Items (must be provided with your offer); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders; and DFAR Clause 252.212.7001 - Contract Terms a nd Conditions required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. The following FAR Clauses, cited within the clause 52.212-5 (July 2005), are checked and are applicable to the acquisition: 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-3, 52.225-13, 52.225-15, and 52.232-33.
