Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Net-Centric Services Branch, Hardware/Software Section (DITCO-PL8231), Scott AFB, IL, intends to issue a sole source purchase order to McData Federal Sales, 10420 Little Patuxent Parkway, Suite 400, Columbia, MD 21044 for the purchase, installation and maintenance of (14) 24? black frames for ESCON RSD, (36) 6-pack ESCON/ST Multimode Couplers, (2) Inrange IFS High-Boy 24? Central/Zone Cabinets w/side panels, (14) ST/ST 72-fiber 36 channel MM 62.5um Plenum 280ft, (30) ESCON Jumper MM 62.5um Plenum 30ft, (40) ESCON Jumper MM 62.5um Plenum 50ft, (65) ESCON Jumper MM 62.5um Plenum 75ft, (88) ESCON Jumper MM 62.5um Plenum 100ft, (24) ESCON Jumper MM 62.5um Plenum 120ft, and (96) ESCON Jumper MM 62.5um Plenum 30ft. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. Only McData/CNT ESCON components can be used to augment the existing ESCON infrastructure at DECC Mechanicsburg. All installation work must be performed by trained and certified McData/CNT technicians. Authorized resellers who can provide the above listed requirement must indicate their written interest within 2 days of this notice. Oral communications are not acceptable. Only authorized resellers for the specific make and model of the required components will be considered for evaluating the determination to issue a sole source purchase order.
