Description

The solicitation provides for two schedules. Schedule A will furnish stone and deliver by deck barge in four separate deliveries to the right bank of the White River approximately mile 6.5 during the period of 7 November 2005 or date of award, which ever is later, through 14 January 2006. Schedule B will provide for rental of heavy equipment, without operators, for the placement of the stone. The USACE Little Rock District intends to initiate one Invitation For Bid for both schedules. The NAICS cod e for Schedule A is 212312 with a size standard of 500 employees. The NAICS code for Schedule B is 532412 with a size standard of $6,000,000.00 Solicitation will be posted on this website on the issue date, on or about 12 October 2005, offers will be due on or about 27 October 2005. Offerors are requested to register in order to receive notice of any changes. The solicitation will not be available in paper format; however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when determined to be in the Governments best interest. All documents required for the offer submittal, including amendments to the offer submittal, shall be in paper medium. Electronic medium for submittal of offer will not be allowed. BASIS OF AWARD  Subject to the terms and conditions contained in the solicitation, award can be made to a single Offeror or separate Offerors for Schedules A & B.
