- Description
- The work of this project shall consist of replacing pipe and ancillary equipment in the existing sanitary sewer system at FPC Alderson. The majority of the existing system consists of a gravity system. There are two force mains, which feed into the gravity system. Other work includes construction of new curb and gutter, with subsurface runoff conveyance facilities, construction of a French drain structure, replacement of the existing grease interceptor with a new grease interceptor in the approximate location shown on the drawings. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The solicitation will be available on or about September 15, 2005, with an anticipated bid opening date of October 17, 2005. The solicitation will be distributed soley through the General Services Admininstrations Federal Business Opportunities web site. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments, will also be distributed soley through this site. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contract for which they are eligible. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The FBOP encourages all interested parties to attend the pre-bid meeting scheduled for September 28, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at FPC Alderson, WV.
