Description

This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source procurement to Golden Valley Electric Association, to provide utilities services for Eielson AFB, Alaska. The requirement consist of providing continuous electric power to Eielson?s substation. The normal load will be residential with the capability to inter-tie with Eielson?s Central Heat and Power Plant for emergency situations. This purchase will be completed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1 and in accordance with FAR 41 Acquisition of Utility Services. The anticipated award date is 21 Oct 05. This notice is not a request for offerors. A determination not to compete this procurement, based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Primary point of contact for this purchase is 2Lt.
