Description

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, The Dalles/John Day Project, intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) service contract to a Sole Source contractor able to provide all materials, labor costs, and equipment necessary to provide and service dumpsters, perform scheduled refuse collection, and disposal at varied locations and frequencies at The John Day Dam, Le Page Park, Giles French Park, and Celilo Park. Dumpsters will be secured in place to protect property from vandalism. The Gover nment understands that the contractor will not pickup any tires, dead animals, or hazardous material. The administrative/contracting point of contact (POC) is Kathryn A. Newhouse at (503) 808-4620. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be procured for the base and four (4) option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 562111 with a small business standard size of $1.5 million in volume. The RFQ will be issued and available to download from the Portland Distr ict website on or about 1 November 2005. The quote will be due on or about 15 November 2005 by 4:00 pm pacific time. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, they must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration, at website www.ccr.gov, before award can be made.
