Description: The Contractor will be responsible for and will provide planning, supervision, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and replacement or repair parts required to maintain Government owned facilities and equipment on the Black Warrior and Tombigbee Ri ver System and the Alabama River Locks and Dams. These facilities include locks, dams and spillways at Coffeeville Lock and Dam, Demopolis Lock and Dam, Selden Lock and Dam, Oliver Lock and Dam, Holt Lock and Dam, and Bankhead Lock and Dam on the Black War rior and Tombigbee (BW&T) River System; Claiborne Lock and Dam, Millers Ferry Lock and Dam, and Robert F. Henry Lock and Dam, on the Alabama River System; and the Tuscaloosa, Demopolis and Holt Site Office Complexes. In addition, the Contractor will be res ponsible for maintaining recreational facilities and Dredge Material Disposal Areas located on the Black Warrior and Tombigbee River System. The contract will be for a base year and four option years. It is anticipated that a Cost Plus Award Fee contract will be awarded with performance to begin 01 September 2006. The solicitation package will be available on or about 01 November 2005. A pre-proposal conference will be held on or about 4 January 2006. This procurement will be a 100% Small Business set- aside. The size standard for which is a concern, including its affiliates whose average annual gross revenue does not exceed $30 million for the past three years. The NAICS code is 561210. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Governments best interest. Therefore, Offerors, (to include subcontractors and Dodge/Plan Rooms) are required to self-register their firm or office on the Internet and download the solicitation at the following Internet site: http://www.sam.usace.army.mil/sa/ct/.
