Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Standard Equipment, 8411 Pulaski Highway, Baltimore, MD, 21237 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b)(1) Soliciting from a Single Source for all labor, parts and material to service and repair one (1) John Deere 410-E Backhoe Loader. Standard Equipment is the only John Deere construction equipment dealer, within a 50-mile radius of Baltimore, MD, certified to service John Deere construction equipment. Other organizations possessing the requisite expertise and resources are invited to submit information concerning their capabilities, experience, and other pertinent data. Pricing data may be submitted. This is not a request for quotation and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of information received. If SSA does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing the service, SSA shall issue a Purchase Order to Standard Equipment. Responses to this notice should be submitted by October 21, 2005. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. Email your interest to stephanie.gardner@ssa.gov.
