Description

The USDA, Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS), intends to issue a sole source award using commercial and simplified acquisition procedures for the lease of a Quattro micro system for one-year with options for three years to be used in conjunction with previously acquired Quattro micro systems. The system will be purchased from Waters Technologies Corporation located in Milford, MA. The proposed action is to permit USDA to lease equipment which will be compatible with utilize existing equipment and is not intended for the purchase of new equipment. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Numbered Note 22 applies.
