DESC: NSN 6130-01-376-1625, Part Number 12919197, The item to procure is a POWER INTERFACE BOX ASSEMBLY FOR THE M1A1 TANK AND CONSISTS OF A BOX MADE MACHINED ALUMINUM ALLOY, 6061-T6, APPROXIMATE 7 IN X 4.5 IN X 4.5 IN WITH NUMEROUS ELECTRONIC COMPONE NTS, CIRCUIT BREAKERS AND WIRING INSTALLED. INPUT VOLTAGE REQUIREMENTS ARE 18-30 VOLTS DC. CIRCUIT ISOLATION RESISTANCE BETWEEN ANY TWO ISOLATED CIRCUIT AND THE HOUSING SHALL BE S100 MEGOHMS MINIMUM AT 100VDC. Requirements are 50 EACH BOX ASSEMBLY POWER INTERFACE (POWER SUPPLY) FOB is DESTINATION. For use on the M1 ABRAMS TANK. Estimated issue date is 02 DEC 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments t hereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendm ents which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. The proposed contract will include TWO 100 percent optionS. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside.
