Description

This announcement is for informational purposes only. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the New York State Police, Information Network Data System, for the continued computer network access to the National Crime Information Center 2000 (NCIC 2000) to obtain local, state, and federal law enforcement information, including NCIC for FBI Field Offices and Resident Agencies located in the State of New York. The contract will be negotiated for the current year and four (4) option years. Access to the NCIC is controlled by the individual governing states. The New York State Police?s, Information Network?s National Crime Information Center system provides the only authorized access to the NCIC system and is a private entity owned and operated by the State of New York. If any interested party would like to be considered for award, please submit a written statement indicating your interest by 3:00 pm on October 24, 2005, to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Information Technology Contracts Unit, Attention: Barbara A.
