- Amendment 0004 adds additional CLINs for the Type 1 and Type 2 Lightweight Meter. Response date is extended to 1 Nov 05. This requirement is for a 5-year, requirements-type contract for the Tactical Automated Tank Gauge in accordance with the Purchase Description PD04WRLEEV26, dated 2 May 2005. This requirement will consist of one basic period of 12 months and 4 annual options with best estimated quantities. There is no minimum or maximum order amount established. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business participation only. FAR 15 procedures will be employed with a First Article required, First Article Test Procedures IAW DD Form 1423, First Article Test Inspection Reports IAW DD Form 1423 in addition to data requirements such as technical manuals. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The Government will utilize the Technically Acceptable, Performance Price Trade-off (TA-PPT) procedures, and will evaluate proposals and make award in accordance with the ?Evaluation Basis for Award? provisions in the RFP. Numbered Notes Apply: 1. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. 23. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements and is cited in each individual solicitation. 26. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
