Description
CONTACT Point of Contact, Andrew Flora (732) 532-2544. Bracket & Alignment of the OR-336 Cooler-Dewar Group. This market survey is to locate potential qualified sources to perform subject Bracket & Alignment (B-and-A) of OR-336/A Cooler-Dewar Group(s ), NSN 5855-01-172-1788. This item is a First Generation Infrared Common Module. This B-and-A involves the installation of a bracket and the execution of an alignment procedure that requires use of an Optical Bench interfaced with computer controllers run by software. An IR Black Body source, precise measurement devices (to one-thousandths of an inch), and mechanical expertise are required to perform this procedure without damage to the fragile Cooler-Dewar Group(s), provided as GFE. Contract requireme nts will include demands to complete this B-and-A at a rate of 50-60 per month beginning 120 DAC. Government data is limited to the Top Assembly Drawing and the Performance Specification for the OR-336 Cooler-Dewar Group. Each respondent to this survey wi ll be expected to demonstrate that it possesses the production and technical capabilities to meet all of these requirements. First article qualification requirements will be imposed for new suppliers. The Government proposes to award a 5-year, Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract to procure cited requirements. Interested sources must send the following information, NLT 31 OCT 05, to CECOM IEW/S Directorate, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-N-TI (Andrew Flora), Bldg. 1201, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703. Ide ntification of the contractor as a Large or Small Business. If a Small Business, please identify as an 8(a), HUBZone, Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, or non-disadvantaged. Past Performance for these or similar items. The contractor shall submit their part numb ers, NSN, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience. Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided. The contractor shall cite the quality standard ( either Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this effort.
