- The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Pacific, Small Business Office, is seeking qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) that are interested in performing various types of facilities support services and construction work for projects throughout Hawaii (including Oahu and Kauai), Guam, and other outlying areas in the Pacific region. The responses received from this Sources Sought Notice will aid in the development of an SDVOSB database that the Government will utilize to make acquisition strategy decisions. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 2.101, the following is the definition of an SDVOSB: ?Service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern? ? (1) Means a small business concern ? i. Not less than 51 percent of which is owned by one or more service-disabled veterans or, in the case of any publicly owned business, not less than 51 percent of the stock of which is owned by one or more service-disabled veterans; and ii. The management and daily business operations of which are controlled by one or more service-disabled veterans or, in the case of a service-disabled veteran with permanent and severe disability, the spouse or permanent caregiver of such veteran. (2) Service-disabled veteran means a veteran, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(2), with a disability that is service-connected, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(16). NAVFAC Pacific is interested in SDVOSBs that can perform the following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: Utilities: 221122, 221310 Construction: 236116, 236118, 236200, 236210, 236220, 237110, 237310, 237900, 238120, 238190, 238290, 238910, 238990 Transportation and Warehousing: 488410 Professional, Scientific and Technical Services: 541310, 541330, 541380, 541710, 541930 Administration and Support and Waste Management and Remediation Services: 561210, 561621, 561730, 561790, 562910, 562998 Other Services: 811192, 811212, 811310 Firms capable and interested in performing work in industries which were not listed in the above NAICS codes are also invited to submit information. Firms are strongly encouraged to register their businesses in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) System at http://www.ccr.gov as this is the central database for all Federal procurement agencies.
