Description

The VA Medical Center, Cincinnati Ohio intends to negotiate a sole source, firm fixed price contract with Applied Cytometry Systems, Inc. Sacramento, CA for the purchase, installation and training performed at site, of the Luminex 100 Software Package. For this procurement, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541519. The Luminex 100 Instrument includes: Dell computer with 17? flat panel monitor, Luminex XYP for 96 well plates, Luminex Sheath delivery system and STarStation v 2.0 System Control Software for Acquisition and Analysis; includes 1 year warranty and Luminex IS software with FDA approval. On site installation and training will be performed at the customer site. Includes calibration beads for 20L sheath fluid. Free STarQuality QC Kit for Verification and maintenance of Luminex STarSystem. Multicreen resist Vacuum Manifold; Carboxylated beads with 12,500,000 microspheres. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within ten days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the VAMC Cincinnati will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Applied Cytometry Systems, Inc. Government-wide Numbered Notes - 22.
