Description

THIS PROJECT IS ADVERTISED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS PURSUANT TO THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. THE NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE FOR THIS PROJECT IS 237990. This work consists of Rental of a sixteen (16) inch hydraulic cutterhead dredge for maintenance dredging of multiple various projects within the Mobile District boundaries in Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. With option to require delivery of an additional twelve (12) to fourteen (14) inch dredge. Estimated cost range of the project is from $10,000,000 to $25,000,000. Solicit ation documents should be available on or about 31 October 2005. Mr. Leo J. Hickman is Contracting Officer for this project. Note: The above general outline of the work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials required by the specifications and the drawings referred to therein.
