Description
The Coast Guard has set aside an acquisition for HUBZone concerns only. NAICS Code is 336611 and the SIC is 3731. The acquisition is for DRYDOCK repairs to the USCGC AMBERJACK (WPB 87315), a 87 FOOT PATROL BOAT, homeported in South Padre Island,TX. This is geographically restricted. All work will be performed at contractors facility. The performance period will be 42 calendar days with a start date of ooa 09 January 2006. This work will include, but is not limited to., L General Requirements 1 Welding Repairs 2 Clean and Inspect Fuel and Waste Oil Tanks 3 Realign Main Engine/Reduction Gear 4 Renew Stern Tubes 5 Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Propeller Shafts 6 Straighten Shafts 7 Renew Water-Lubricated Shaft Bearings 8 Remove, Inspect and Reinstall Propellers 9 Perform Minor Repair and Recondition of Propeller 10 Preserve Transducer Hull Rings 11 Overhaul and Renew Valves 12 Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Rudder Assemblies 13 Preserve RIB Wet Notch Deck and Stern Door Interior Surfaces 14 Preserve Underwater Body 15 Preserve Freeboard 16 Renew Cathodic Protection System 17 Inspect Transducer Fairing 18 Provide Temporary Logistics 19 Routine Drydocking 20 Renew Watertight Hatch Frames 21 Renew Rudder Bearing Housings 22 Ultrasonic Testing (C )Travel and Per Diem Trained welders, who have been certified by the applicable regulatory code performance qualification procedures, shall accomplish all welding and brazing. All reference documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA. Drawings are now available on CD-ROM. The CD-ROM sets are available for all cutters and will be provided free of charge. The CD-ROM(s) contain WINDOWS compliant raster/vector formats (e.g. *.TIF, *.TIF (group4), *.DWG, and *.DWF, etc.) Drawings are also still available in hard copy. A non-refundable charge of $150.00 is required in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. The proposed contract listed here is set aside for small businesses only. Plans and specifications will be issued on or after 18 October 2005. The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
