- Description
- The Federal Correctional Institution, Oxford, Wisconsin is soliciting to establish a contract for supervision of inmates and maintaining technical competence in the Janitorial/Housekeeping vocational program. FCI Oxford will provide the classroom environment for two classes (one A.M. and one P.M.) consisting of approximately 15 inmates each. The contractor will provide expertise in the Janitorial/Housekeeping Services program including but not limited to: floor and wall surface care, carpet and furniture cleaning, window cleaning, restroom cleaning, use of cleaning chemicals, safety issues, and use of power equipment. The Contractor will provide complete and accurate, observational and standardized assessment of inmates . Help design, organize and modify on an as needed basis the classroom style environment. Evaluation of inmates progress and performance. Maintain accurate, updated records of inmates progress and performance and provide evaluations on a timely basis, as required by the agency certifying the program. Assist in equipment and material selection, specification and shop utilization. The contractor will adhere to all regulations prescribed by F.C.I. Oxford for the safety, custody, and conduct of inmates. The service will be no more than (30) one (1) hour sessions per week, or as needed. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The contract period will be from date of award through September 30, 2006. The schedule will normally be Monday through Friday (except Federal holidays), between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:30 pm, with a thirty minute unpaid lunch period, (if applicable) and will not exceed 30 hrs. per week. The contractor will furnish copies of all diplomas, training certificates and certification of all continued educational requirements that benefits the contractor in complying with the statement of work An option year contract is contemplated, award will be based on the total price for the basic requirement together with any option(s) exercised at the time of award. A firm fixed-price requirements contract will be awarded on or about November 16, 2005. Estimated maximum number of sessions is 1248 (one session equaling one hour). The solicitation will be available on/about October 19, 2005 and will be distributed solely through this website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions to obtain all documents relating to this solicitation. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The date for receipt of quotations is on October 9, 2005. Faith-Based and community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This solicitation is a total small business set-Aside. See Note 1.
