Description

Furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation, tools, supervision and any other items necessary to provide quick lime to the Water Treatment Plant at Fort Bragg, North Carolina for the period 1 March 2006 through 28 February 2007 (plus 4 one -year option periods). The Government estimates ordering 1950 tons per contract period (78 deliveries annually, with 25 tons per delivery). The quick lime will be delivered in pneumatic tanker for offloading into the lime silo. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for this effort. This acquisition is being set-aside 100% for small business concerns only. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 327410. The size standard is 500 employees. Upon release to the public the solicitation shall be available via the internet at website: http://www.bragg.army.mil/www-doc/Contractors/SOLICIT.HTM. Bidders are responsible for routinely checking this web-site for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. No individual notification of any amendment will be provided.
