Description
The Air Force is seeking sources for a potential 100 percent set-aside for 8(a), HUBZone, or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. IF ADEQUATE RESPONSES ARE NOT RECEIVED, THE ACQUISTION MAY BE SOLICIATED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS. This is a sources sought for planning purposes only. TITLE/DESCRIPTION: Repair First Floor ? Phase II, Facility 30010, Project 940166A. This project is for the repair of the 88 ABW/JA office and customer service areas. The project will be phased to allow the JA command section to remain in the facility during the renovation. The project includes the demolition/renovation of nearly the entire first floor excluding the court room and entry lobby, installation of a fire suppression/detection system, new water main to the facility, and a new HVAC system. renovation he project involves excavation and installation of a concrete trench and then installation of 125 PSI steam and pumped condensate piping in that trench. Prime contractors who are 8(a), HUBZone or SDVOSB and who intend to submit a bid for this solicitation MUST submit the following by 4:00 p.m. (local Dayton time) by 28 Oct 2005: Responses should include the following: (1) a positive statement of your intention to submit a bid for this solicitation as a Prime Contractor; (2) date of 8(a), HUBZone and/or SDVOSB certification; and (3) listing of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact with their phone numbers; (4) evidence of capability to be bonded for bid, performance and payment bonds; (5) If you are an 8(a) or HUBZone considering a joint adventure, you will need to provide proof that this consideration has been forwarded to the cognizant SBA office for approval. Firms interested should provide the above documentation, in one original and one copy. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on the availability of interested 8(a), HUBZone or SDVOSB concerns. Responses shall be limited to 5 pages. Failure to submit all information requested would result in a contractor being considered ?not interested? in this requirement. A decision on whether this will be pursued as a set-aside or an unrestricted basis will be posted as a modification in Federal Business Opportunities.
