Description

NOTICE OF INTENT - This requirement is for sole source procurement with Dr. Fred Kraus of the Bishop Museum, 1525 Bernice Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96817. Dr. Fred Kraus is a herpetologist with extensive background in invasive reptiles and amphibians. Over the past several years, he has been compiling data on invasive reptiles and amphibians. He now has a substantial database on invasive reptiles and amphibians. These data will be used in the risk assessment. The quantitative analysis and identification of pathways will allow for the identification of high risk reptiles and amphibians which are most susceptible to transport in Hawaii. Identification of these pathways will provide the best means to curtail future arrival of additional harmful reptiles and amphibians in Hawaii. Interested parties must submit technical capabilities, pricing and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Governments needs. This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No solicitation document is available. No purchase order will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is avaiThis procurment is set aside for small business concerns.
