Description

The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price Contract to procure services of a contractor qualified to conduct safety audits of the Electrical Distribution Operations Division at the NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic Material Department, Naval Station Norfolk to insure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.269, and to conduct monthly training on variety of electrical safety related topics that will include but not be limited to: General Electrical Safety, Personal Safety Equipment, Dangers of Electricity, Live Line Tools and Hazardous Energy Control. This requirement shall be procured in accordance with FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The period of performance of the contract will be for a base year with provisions for four (4) one (1) year option periods. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http:www2.eps.gov, as this office no longer issues hard copy solicitations. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be release on or about 27 October 2005. By submitting an offer, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor or the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended of debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency. Failure to do so may be grounds for refusing to accept the proposal.
