Description

This is an 8a competitive procurement to provide Commercial Facilities Management Services at the National Building Museum, Washington, DC. The Contractor shall have experience in providing management, administrative, and technical support to accomplish the following services: facility management, operation and maintenance of mech./elect. equip., elevator maintenance, janitorial service/trash removal/debris recycling and removal. The initial contract period is for 12 months, and the Government shall have the unilateral option to renew services for 4 additional 12 month periods. GSA is issuing this solicitation only electronically on/or about November 14, 2005. There will be a pre-proposal conference and walk-thru tour at the Museum or or about November 30, 2005. This will be the only walk-thru opportunity. All questions arising from the conference and tour shall be submitted by email by COB December 16, 2005. Proposals are due on or about January 25, 2006, and services under the anticipated contract are scheduled to start April 1, 2006.
