Description

Intent: The intent of this project is to remove and replace carpet and base in Bldg. 140 Command Offices. Scope of work: The contractor shall provide all labor, material and equipment to remove & replace carpet from Bldg. 140 Command Offices and install new carpet approx 500 Sq. Yrds of carpet tile 18 x 18. 1. The contractor shall also move and replace the furniture needed to complete carpet replacement project. 2. The contractor shall also provide new base board in hallways and offices 4" approximately 2200 LF., Carpet release glue for full contact adhetion and base adhesive. Architect will choose base color. 3. The contractor shall also remove base and any other refuse associated with this project to the nearest landfill. The contractor shall recycle old carpet removed from Bldg. under the program provided by the carpet manufacturer. 4. The contractor will be required to work at night after 16:00 hours and on weekends in order to not disrupt training. 5. The contractor shall phase carpet in such a way that the spaces that are done are back in service by (07:00) the following day. 6. The floor plans of the Bldg. will be made available to contractor upon site visit to Training Center. 7. This project shall be done during Christmas break at Training Center.
