Description
This announcement is to provide notification of the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to enter into a sole source Consignment Agreement with Atrium Medical Corporation for Vascular Grafts. Atrium is the only true full line supplier able to provide Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) small diameter, PTFE large diameter, PTFE bifurcates, PTFE patches, DACRON bifurcates and DACRON patches with a unique slider Graft Deployment System (GDS) implantation system to the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cincinnati Ohio. The Agreement will be for a twelve-month base period with three one-year option periods. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 13.501 (a), Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, in conjunction with Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339113 and the Small Business Size Standard (SIC) is 500 employees. This requirement will be awarded on an unrestricted basis. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the product. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer within five days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received the Veteran Affairs Cincinnati, Ohio Health Care System, will proceed with the intended consignment agreement.
