Description
The contractor will receive a bi-weekly list of eligible employees to receive MSC-funded safety shoes. The contractor will bring a variety of safety shoes to the orientation session, currently held at Camp Pendleton, Virginia Beach, Virginia. All shoes must be in compliance with the ANSI Z41-1991 Standard. It is expected to hire over 700 new hires for the remainder of the fiscal year, with approximately 25-50 new hires during each Orientation session, which is held every two weeks. The contractor must have available all sizes in a variety of styles and manufactures that are or comparable to the following: Timberland: TL26038 ? 6? Waterproof and Insulated Work boot TL48338 ? Work boot Magnum: MG8206 - Midnite Plus 6? Sidezip boot (w/Composite Toe) MG8207 ? Women?s Midnite Plus ? 6? Sidezip Boot ? Composite Toe MG8156 ? Midnite Plus 8? Side Zip HT5166 ? High tech Midnite Plus 8? Workboot Red Wings ? RW6680 ? Muscle Shoe 6? Waterproof Hiker Boot Harley Davison H91015 ? Harley Davison 6? Work Boot It should be expected to sell approximately 700 boots each year estimated as follows: 210 Magnums 210 Timberlands 100 Converse 100 Georgia Boots 25 Harleys 25 Redwings With the availability of other styles and manufactures as desired. Delivery dates are tentatively scheduled for the following dates in 2006: January 12 and 26; February 9 and 23; March 9 and 23; April 6 and 20; May 4 and 18; June 1, 8, and 29; July 13 and 27; August 10 and 24; September 7 and 21 At the conclusion of the mobile distribution of work shoe session of Orientation, the contractor will provide Fleet Support Command with the copies of the receipts for every purchase. The contractor will tally all purchases and will invoice MSC on one line item: Actual Itemized Invoices The contractor will provide MSC with a quarterly report of all inventory purchased to date. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: This Boot Mobile Contract is valid from 01 January through 30 September 2006 with two one-year options. FAR Clause 52.249 ?1 Termination for Convenience of the Government (Fixed/Price) (9/96) applies. All responsible sources are invited to submit proposals, which willbe considered by the agency.
