Description
THE SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR THIS PROJECT WAS PREVIOUSLY UNDER SOLICITATION NO. N62478-05-R-2276. Breathable Air Purification System and Filter Maintenance Services at Abrasive Blast/Paint Facility Buildings 1701, 1702, 1703 and 1704, Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Oahu, Hawaii. The work includes, but is not limited to scheduled maintenance service of the facility?s breathable air purification (respiratory protector) system; and abrasive blast and paint booth filter maintenance at buildings 1701, 1702, 1703 and 1704 at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard (PHNS) Controlled Industrial Area (CIA) Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The work also includes 1) calibration of carbon monoxide (CO) monitors, changing filter kits, inspecting and testing respiratory protector systems, and completing all report and record keeping requirements; or 2) removing existing Modern Safety Techniques (MST) Carbon Monoxide Monitor and renew with new MST CO monitor, calibrate and test system; and 3) removing used Facility Ventilation Intake, Exhaust and Dust Collector Filter Cartridge and renewing with facility permit approved filters. Both new and used Intake, Exhaust, and Dust Collector Filter Cartridges for the facility?s ventilation and dust collection systems shall be handled in a manner that abides by the contract requirements; filter manufacturer?s instructions; applicable Activity safety, health and environmental instructions, requirements, and regulations; Activity and facility permits; and Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. The contract will require a Level 4 Site Safety and Health Officer who has minimum experience of four years of safety work, of a progressive nature, with at least three years of experience on similar type projects and successful completion of the 30-Hour OSHA Construction Industry safety class, completed within three years prior to the scheduled contract start date. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811310 and the annual size standard is $6 million. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years. The Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No information exists on prior contracts. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. All interested offerors shall register at the website. No notice of solicitation activity will be provided to interested offerors. Large business concerns shall submit a subcontracting plan. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offerors to submit a technical and price proposal for evaluation by the Government. Proposal receipt date is approximate.
