Description

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency [U S EPA] Environmental Sciences Division [ESD] intends to award a fixed-price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation [FAR] Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items and FAR 52.214-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. The purpose of this acquisition is to purchase a PS200E EqualLogic 200E Peer Storage Array configured with seven [7] 400GB SATA drives; hot swappable controller with 1 GB of battery backed memory; dual hot-swappable power supplies and fans; three 1 GB Ethernet interfaces. Include Snapshot and Replication. Must be expandable by simply adding seven [7] additional SATA drives followed by adding on additional arrays. Must include on-site installation and knowledge transfer, and must include one day of Professional Service for installation of the Peer Storage array. Quote must include volume setup, snapshots, and hands-on training for overall management of the system. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE [RFQ] IS AVAILABLE. Vendor must provide Federal Tax Identification Number, Dun and Bradstreet Number, and Central Contractor Registration to be eligible for award. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334112. Any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA?s requirement as stated herein may submit a response which, if received within 15 calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered.
